Went on a road trip to Buffalo yesterday to finally get my dream amp (again)
Traded a 1969 Fender Champ plus a few $$$ for this baby.
1983 Fender Princeton reverb II made in USA. The last of Fenders PTP hand wired models, from the Rivera Era.
Solid pine cabinet, real spring reverb, 12 inch speaker all tubes 20 watts and compact enough to bring to a gig without killing your back.
Within the last month I tried multiple Princeton tube amps models from vintage to modern reissues, all were great but missing what I call "the edge" and this one has it.
Definitely has the vintage vibes but more tweakable and powerful enough to gig as is.
After a 14 hour 'round trip I'm glad it's home.
No more amps or guitars this year, promise !!!
