I was sitting here watching The Town and as it ended, I began watching the acid trip come to film: Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas. I was taking with my wife and mentioned that's one of my all time favorite movies, even though its completely off the rails. She said " You say every movie is your favorite" and that began a debate on " What IS my favorite movies?" And so I figured I'd ask the same to you guys!

In no particular order, if I had to name just 10:
1) Platoon
2) Scarface
3) The Godfather ( 2 is interchangeable and honestly just a continuation)
4) Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas
5) Django Unchained
6) The Exorcist
7) Full Metal Jacket
8) Goodfellas
9) A Clockwork Orange
10) Formula 51 ( a wildcard for sure but i love it for some reason)

Theres tons more that id hold in high regard but that's the trick: you gotta short change yourself! So lets hear em.

Those are some great movies! Lots of good comedies in there. The Thing and Holy Grail easily could be on my list as well!

Great movies! Right there with ya on the lists with A Clockwork Orange as well. 13th Warrior is a grossly overlooked film, best Beowulf adaptation in my book

In no particular order, and I could probably compile a list of ten more still:

Braveheart
Lord of the Rings trilogy
Star Wars trilogy (IV, V, VI)
The Matrix
The Book of Eli
The Fifth Element
The Road
Slingblade
Terminator II: Judgement Day
Harry and the Hendersons

Should I stop?
Yeah, okay, I'm gonna stop now...

Trying to pick ten favorite movies is not much different than trying to pick one favorite album.

I can't do it.

I've still got great movie titles running through my head still lol

There some amazing picks in there! Just browsing thru the mentioned since I last saw this thread; I definitely love:
Outlaw Josey Wales
Caddyshack
The Jerk
T2
Braveheart
Slingblade
Oceans 11
Heat
Pulp Fiction
Zodiac
From Dusk Til Dawn
And shoutouts to Mel Brooks and Maximum Overdrive! ( i grew up with that one and it got me into ACDC!)
