Keep fit

Both good for fitness.
The first photo in the snow is what I imagine Canada to look like all year round. :)
The second, well ... wet suits in summer, strange.
Keep active ladies and gentlemen, we aren't getting any younger.
Winters are less and less like that first pic.
Summer isn't necessarily balmy, just warm enough to be comfortable in shorts. Water in the Magdalene Islands is another story though. You can swim comfortably, maybe one month in summer. This pic was taken mid September if I recall.

Interesting, I guess it's all about latitude.
I can swim 12 months of the year, 6 without wet suit.
Any of the 365 days will have surfers in the water all along the coast.

Latitude, attitude, aptitude, certitude, gratitude, multitude, plentitude, exactitude, promptitude, crackpotitude, palaeolatitude ... choose your weapon.

And then there's the Gulf Stream, El Niño/Niña, eESGe, salt/sweet water, fishy smell, wetsuit smell. Add your own here ___________

But that was up the Gulf of St-Lawrence. Down lower by the USA border where I live 9 months of the year, there are 4 definite seasons with each its perks.

This is fall. My house in the middle there.

You're the same age as me. Here's my recent piece of keeping fit. Norway this time - a long walk through the mountains. It ended up with a treat for the young one - she took a dip in the sea; not for me, thanks - it wasn't far above freezing!

Nice! Where exactly is this?

Just remembered one of the best things on that walk - wild blueberries. They were deep purple all the way through - not green in the middle like the ones in the shops. And water from the springs, it had a slightly peaty taste but really refreshing. And great not to have to carry it in bottles.
We have wild blueberries and lingonberries in our garden. Pretty nice!

Roughly Svelgen to Bremanger - in Sogn og Fjordane. And yes, it is beautiful. Just a 25 minute flight from Bergen to Florø, then a bit further north.
That's a very nice part of the country. Two of my colleagues are actually from Bremanger.
