Keep an eye out guys, make sure you have good pc protection..

NEVER, NEVER log into your "places" from email address links, unless you KNOW the email is legit.

ALWAYS, ALWAYS look at the actual email address your email has come from. You will see that all the SCAMMERS sending things as if they are Amazon, banks, financial accounts, etc., will come from a Bull :poo: address OR one that may look at first glance that it is legit, but after further observation it is not. LOTS of the emails want you to change your password for the institution ...so they can SCAM what your actual information.

ALWAYS, ALWAYS ALWAYS, send money in any form to requests that may come from Sapient.

I got a very legit email from a company I do business with. Took me several minutes but finally found what the scammer did. They added an “S” at the end of the name.

Another way to avoid potential issues with a spam/scam email. Even if you’re pretty sure it’s legit…. But not 100% sure. Log into your secure online account. The same message should be there in “Alerts” or “Messages.”

And then when I get those emails from virus protection companies….. geek squad…. Etc, thanking me for my $500 order….. I’ll log into my CC’s, bank and PayPal to be sure no one has hit my accounts. Since I only have a couple cards and bank, it doesn’t take long to check.

It setup my CCs and bank to send text alerts if greater than $1 has been charged or withdrawn.

That’s not a bad idea. My bank is sorta set up that way. I get a notice when I use my debit card, but it’s set at around 50 bucks.
