After a frustrating time trying to get access to The Tone Rooms I can finally post a thread here. (Problems with "privileges" and then verification, all hopefully sorted now.)
I know I'm late checking in (I got wavmixers invite 6 months ago) but I've had other stuff to do and have also taken a bit of a break from the net in the past few months. One of the projects I've been working on is another Ricalike, a 330 Capri for another friend of a friend, plus I've been dabbling with amplifiers, tinkering and buying. Latest acquisitions are a Marshall JCM800 Super Bass 100w head together with a matching 4x12 (both from 1983), a Sound City B100 head c.1969 (sounds amazing) and the completion of two builds: a brown Princeton clone (christened the Brownstone) and a Gibson GA-40 clone (aka "Lester", finish to match "The Sheriff" as posted on ETSG).
As you can gather from the above, my GAS is unabated.
I look forward to seeing what else goes on around here and meeting some old acquaintances.
