Jacob’s Ladder - Rush

This is one I did years ago year in one of my earliest videos. I always wanted a re-do as the backing track was some midi crap with no vocals and at that time I was recording directly into my eBand which doesn’t allow for mixing. This is two guitars panned 80% left/right with a 3rd guitar playing the octave harmony during the little theme section.

This will be my last tune posted for 2025 so with that I just wanted to thank everyone who has put up with these covers all year and lent their support with a listen or comment. I realize not everyone likes exact (or sort of) covers and time is at a premium for us all so that you give these threads any time is very much appreciated. Here’s to a happy and healthy 2026!

Great job as always sir, I think I remember this one from before. Like a lot of Rush songs that’s like 3 or 4 songs worth of music in there. Keeping that riffage near the end straight must have taken a bit of grey matter, but fantastic work my friend.

Thank you my friend. The hardest part was that last chordal bit at the end. It was a real b*tch to count out.
