I will start this off by saying, I have no clue how people remove most of the sounds of a guitarist, drummer etc from a clip and then post it. But it is so cool and I will post some examples I found from a band many dismiss or push aside mostly due to an aversion to how the Bass player sings. BUT as can be seen in the youtube listeners' comments, these guys were mid 20's when this was done. Let that sink in.
Hunting examples made me remember where I saw Kids and Danny Carey of Tool and some vids of Tool songs. Guess they progressed from Mary Had a Little Lamb pretty well.
I think the drummer is a ringer. This is what the mother said:
Reformed's final gig got a surprise guest, Danny Carey! (the drummer of TOOL) Terrible sound quality on my iPhone but fun to have this memory of my daughter, Kt Ruth Harms and her old band (Jacob Wilder, Grace Goyanes, Michael Wisz) playing with Danny. He could not have been nicer or more supportive of the kids. Burbank Music Academy continually provides amazing learning opportunities for their young musicians. This band is no longer together.
