If I were to hazzard a guess I would say

Wow! That actually sounded sweet!
I would have loved to catch a glimpse at what amp he was using.
Multi-Talented man no doubt.

That's a good jam rite there. Good show too.

The guy on the jazzmaster, looks like the guy on one of my favorite Twilight Zone episodes. He dies, and then gets out of the casket at the funeral, freaking out the town. Sure looks like the guy anyway.

Could very well be.
Old Twilight Zone episodes are loaded with
people that became very big stars later on.

I knew he looked familiar....its James Best! AKA - Rosco P. Coltrane

Few, mystery solved.

We now continue with the previously scheduled broadcast!

One of my time passing hobbies (lol) is watching the Encore Western channel. They have lots of 1/2 hour cowboy shows from the late 50's & early 60's on in the afternoons, and every 6 months or so they change out some shows & bring in some newer (as in not in recent rotation) programs.

It should be no surprise to find stars that were alive & actively acting back then appear in these old nuggets from the past. James Best has been recently seen in more than one of them much to my surprise & delight.

There is something fun & exciting about seeing that young familiar face on TV & figuring out who they may be & coming to that affirming 'no $#it' moment of epiphany.

Some of those late 50's & early 60's cowboy themed gems recently seen on Encore Westerns:
Wanted Dead or Alive
Gunsmoke
Wyatt Earp
Tales of Wells Fargo
Have Gun Will Travel
Bat Masterson
Death Valley Days
Wagon Train

Some of these I never had chance to see before now as they were on TV before I was born & weren't syndicated re-runs. So I've been enjoying these trips back in time while always having the context & time-frame of this filming era on my mind. Most notably, this was post WWII America & some of these people were actually soldiers & war heroes. Once ya get into it, it can all be pretty cool.

Lift 'em up cowboy
