Well...

Our singer owns a Christmas tree farm and she asked the band to perform with her and they flat-out turned her down. The bassist and I agreed to help.

I don't own an acoustic, but my Son sent me a cheap Harmonia acoustic/electric for repair, so I grabbed it and went. We sat on hay bales for about 4 hours last night.

Let me tell you what....those Christmas songs kicked my ass.

Not only were there a lot of chords i never use (like A7, D7, G#m, F#m, Em7, etc) most every song had to be transposed to a new key on-the-fly.

Having played on a worship team at church. While I love the old school Christmas songs..... most let me sing bass, which is my voices sweet spot.... they are impossible to play on guitar. I generally reached for a capo. So.... I feel your pain.
