I'm a big Rick Beato fan and I think this is one of his best interviews. I really like his "What makes this song great" series, I enjoy how he pulls apart songs. His insights into gear, music and production are always interesting.
I don't know if there is a more knowledgeable guy in the industry.
I think some of Satch's comments on guitar playing are some of the most valid in the world of guitar.
Especially the lines regarding people not wanting to pay money to hear people practive and not want ing to pay to see people play all the notes all of the time. They have stuck in my mind.
