Have a pair of Crate Celestion V12 made in England speakers, As i was playing all my cabs lately in serious a/b comparison. This is sorta like a Vintage 30 but not as harsh.They came in a 2x12 particle board crate cab.Have always paired it with the V Type in semi open.
Been trying them out..they are decent...seems like a mix of greenbackish Vintage but in between V type & v30 with a slight dif mid emphasis.. It is heavy magnet like 30. Tend to think it is a Crate branded V30 but its well broken therefore not harsh.
But my Marshall branded Vintage 30's are not harsh. Have 2x12 closed with china v30 & its broken in now but at beginning was a lil stiff.I use it for slightly more modern tone. Tried all the 4 holers onto them. Also have the first gt75 which is very 65 like. Pretty cool to change speakers..it's like changing amps..sometimes does more for tone than anything you can do. I can get the Marshall's into pretty precise pockets for dif use
