I'm shallow

Several months ago, I decided I wanted a new car.
I was driving a 2016 Challenger that I had bought new.

Though nothing was wrong with it, I had an itch for something different and new.
So I ended up getting an Infiniti.

It was a really nice sedan, with an intercooled twin turbo motor.
Quite a spirited little bugger.
But I wasn't comfortable driving around in it. I felt like a tool.

It's not the cars fault, as it's a very capable sedan, but it just wasn't me.

When I got my Challenger, driving it made me feel young again.
Like I felt in my 20's when I'd get a new car.
I felt pride when driving it.
Those feelings just weren't happening in the Infiniti.
It made me come to my senses and the realization that I missed my Challenger.
So what's a person to do?
Life's too short to drive an ugly car. Even a capable one.
I've now traded a 3000 mile Infiniti in on another Challenger.
Bought it and did all the bull:poo: paperwork online, and I just brought her home to roost.

So what does this new little beastie look like, well this is the dealer picture of it.

As usual, my photography sucks. And by the time I got home the sun was already setting.
It's a super deep metallic purple.
The color is Hellraisin.
I had always been a fan of the Mopar Plum Crazy purple, but it hasn't been available since 2019.
This is a very nice compromise.
I reckon it's like the old Cinderella song, "you don't know what you've got till it's gone".
I can now drive once again, without shame, holding my head high.
Yeah, I'm shallow, but so what.:dood: It's freaking beautiful.

or more likely the speeding fines and license revokement .........................

Dude, there were a couple of Redeyes at the dealer. 70 -80k
Dig that huge intercooler behind the grill, hehehehe.:dood:
They had a Demon in the showroom with a stupidly unrealistic gouge your eyeballs, price of 150k.
A little ruthless for a car that sold new, two years ago in the 80k range.
Also a "used" Hellcat with 400 miles at a somewhat reasonable price of 40k.
A real candy store, or opium den, depending on ones perspective.

That Frostbite blue is stunning in person.
