Identifying your guitar

in case of theft, these are a few tips, some of you might have some to add as well. I will be doing this on the access back covers of my guitars electronics bay etc..

I wouldn't trust scrawling my name on the easily replaceable parts. I keep receipts and take pictures of my gear and make sure other things I own are in the picture. I also take pics of the serial numbers. The guitars I've built I have pics of the build process that can prove they're mine.

I recently insured many of my guitars. The insurance company has documentation with pictures and receipts. Every insured guitar has pictures of the front, back, headstock and serial number on file with them. My Warmoth builds have my initials on the headstock and inside the electronics bay :dood:
