I have some of the weirdest backstory you will ever encounter, I'm not going to recount it all here, a couple of things may well be recounted at some point. :lol:
Don't let anything fool you: I may post like a youngster at times, but I'm not a youngster. That weirdo backstory to a great degree kept me from playing, kept me from being in bands. So, I'm like a garage band kid that's grown up and has an extra room to do music in. Combined with the early retirement, I have time on my hands and the will to work. Current lineup is new, I have a feeling it's going to work well and get us out gigging and releasing a lot of tunes.
The old dude part does have some fun attached: I'm Dad, Son is a jazz drummer in a good college program and we just had a blast while he was younger, we had a lot of young musicians through the house jamming and working. Meanwhile, I had
my first band in.....ummmmmmmmm 30 years or so???
So that's me, I feel like a kid sometimes, at times my knees say "not so fast," and some days I feel like I have a whole life of time to play and other days I am concerned the clock will run out before I do the stuff I want to do.
