I've always wanted a Watkins Copycat, an Echoplex or one of the Fulltone reproductions. The Strymon El Capistan does the wow and flutter of an old Echoplex quite well. I love messing around with it. With the Boonar, it's lots of fun mixing the tape and drum effects.

Price wise yes, the sound of the tubes is hard to duplicate.
