That's always been a point of contention for me as well: a Floyd Les Paul seems odd to me. I think Tremolos are cool on a Les Paul sometimes ,like an old Bigsby. But when it's a matter of routing an LP seems like it neuters it from it's fatness. Then again, what the hell do I know? Lol I mean Neil Schon and Alex Lifeson make them work well enough. I've heard from other folks if it's a locking trem you're after on an LP, then a Kahler did better by not taking so much wood out, but they're expensive and the jury is split on them.Price is…okay.
Floyd….meh…not for me.
Everything else…sounds fantastic!
My only thing is the Floyd weakens an already weak neck joint. YMMVI need a paul
