Yes, he wants to sound different since there are two guitars in the group. It can be said that we have the same divide in sound as King Crimson with Robert Fripp and Adrian Belew in the -80s, Fripp being more digital, and Belew with a more trashy sound through an old-style tube amp.

Will not compare us with the great KC, though. :(
 
eSGEe: thanks a lot, we try to have a sound with some Nordic character. IMHO: this track from the first GuitCussion CD has a lot of it. It is that moment when you have drived in the large dark forests in Northern Sweden for hours, and all of a sudden there is a place with an old factory, now in ruins:

"Music that explores new universe. Musicians who experiment with sounds, electronics and collective interaction. Musicians who continue to test and fails, and then continue to explore and then develop to the collective interactions taking everything one step further. For where can one go when one is in a chaotic state musically? Too many times it becomes a state of stress without an inner calmness of the musicians and it often results in that one maxes the crap out of anything and then lands a bit mediocre. The feeling afterwards is often predictable and flat.

Or, instead, taking everything a step further as GuitCussion and additionally create an interesting album, bursting with thoughtfulness, presence and experimentation!

GuitCussion is back with the CD Exit Wonderland. The music moves from fusion to freeform, from freeform to noise, from noise to some sort of grandness and it can slightly remind about fusion legend Allan Holdsworth and his space-like sounds and beautiful melodies.
Then back to the chaotic musical conditions and taking everything one step further. GuitCussion are masters at this. The twists and turns of the collective chaos is never a stress factor that must be completed, but it is just a state they utilize and experiment in different ways. In some stages, it is used as an accompaniment instrument, sometimes it sounds like a polyphonic composition, and sometimes as a background to the melodic guitar melodies.
Exit Wonderland is an exciting album with much presence that explores new unexplored planets out there in the universe!
