First off , if you know me I am a master procrastinator.
This would be a contractor / wood working project. Replacing a base drawer cabinet, not removing the granite top. Should be cake, right?

Does the granite have a bullnose edge? If so, the cabinet it not just going to slide out or the new one slide in. Use a contractor and you can blame him !
No, thank goodness we got simple 1/4 round.
No contractors are allowed on my property unless it’s major re-model.

When I bought the house we just had to settle for the cabinets. It would have been smarter to buy them back then but cabinets would have been 3 to 4 times as much as the counter tops. At the time it was not in the cards.

Besides, I am half way in to cutting out the old one.lol

I really thought some professionals would chime in here but that being said, advice is taken with a grain of salt . lmao

In this image the line is the cut and now there is no turning back because the new saw did the job. I did have to use the vibratory saw at the last inch and down to the floor. The center divider is just sitting there for now. The door on the right and single drawer will have to be cut down. The new drawers are 2” wider.
