I tagged it with my stage name and number - as a joke - a few years ago and ended up with paying jobs as a fill-in guitarist with local bands.

The cubicle that passed for a dressing room at CBGB had graffiti from bands going back to the early 70s.
Hilly used to book like six or eight bands a night so every year there'd be a new layer on top.
You could sometimes make out the old tags underneath; it was sorta like rock n roll archaeology.
