I was kind of shocked at the differences, and how dramatic they are, in his chosen set up for this shootout. I was honestly skeptical of just how much effect the tube has in the Micro Terror...until I saw this:

There is some differences, some very minor and a some with a significant difference. Depending especially on the using of different Pups.

I had a Micro Dark for a while. Never found a sound in it I liked but I can attest to the fact that rolling tubes in it made major differences (unfortunately all bad in my case).

I’m saddened to hear that...and just a tiny bit surprised...after watching that video.

I'm convinced I bought the wrong amp. If I'd gotten a Micro Terror I'd probably still have it, but the Micro Dark was unusable at anything but close to gigging volume and only sounded good through my 4x12. Maybe that was the intent but I had wanted to use it to get some Orange flavor at practice volume. Also, it was very dark (so aptly named) and the EQ went from mud to fizz with almost nothing in between. Oh, and the emulated out was a total joke. I had a little Crush practice amp at one time that was better for headphones.
