I am OC Smith's son. He sang many songs but is known for Little Green Apples, and his version of Hickory Holler's Tramp.

Thank you, I love when I hear people who loved my dad's voice. I have recorded Little Green Apples before, and will remaster in the very near future. I look forward to meeting serious artists, musicians, engineers, etc. Since I am blind, I need people in my circle who can be my eyes. I have a studio to do the work, cineman cameras, etc. Even green screen on the premises, so I hope that this room will open doors for others to come and have fun while we explore our talents and creative juices.

Not at all. I remember how dad and Johnny did things together. Johnny was a true friend to my father and worked hard to open doors for him in his earlier days. I have fond memories of this. Interesting some of the people I got to be with when I was younger and having people at the house who were at the top of the charts in those days. So yes, I love when someone brings back these memories. It makes me smile and in some ways you're making a shout out to my dad. Thanks.

Robert, glad to see you here. I wish I could assist in your project but I doubt I have the necessary skill set.
That being said, your dad was/is an inspiration to many of us. It would be great to have a new generation exposed to his talent.
Cheers,
Dave Matthews

No worries, it's just great to meet people here and talk sometimes about the good ol' days. I have plenty of them. I was lucky to have people stop by at our house when my dad was in his prime and everyone visited us. Ike and Tina Turner, Bobby Brown and his wife. etc. One of the coolest memories I had is when Frank Sinatra heard my father sing, "That's life", and asked if he could sing it. My dad answered, "Mr. Sinatra, you can take any songs and sing them. He did and the rest is history. I'm proud of that moment for my dad. I sure miss him!
