was Sixstring playing a white Epiphone SG at the time???????????
Not that I recall. He was playing from a cherry red SG, with I believe fence wire as his strings (hehe) they were so big. I'm telling ya, Stevie Ray Vaughn had nothing on Six String when it comes to thick strings. He has a pair of ancient SG's he showed me. This was in,, Syracuse IN. about 12-13 years ago or so. Saw GuitarWeasel in Chicago beer and blues fest about 10 years go. I didn't realize he had moved. Makes me wonder if he's still playing with the band or not. He seemed happy doing the Chicago area festivals.

Last I heard from SixString (Terry), he was more busy doing more gigs doing more rock shows I think. When I saw him at Syracuse, was nearly an acoustic act with his partner with acoustic guitar. The acoustic guy was pretty advanced guitarist and guitar teacher who not only plays VanHallen but Flamenco or Classical guitar really well.

Welcome

Have a look around- great place.

Did you catch weasel with "The Boyz"?

From Northern Il originally myself.

@iblive is same neck of the woods.
That was it! The Boyz, he was smooth and melodic with his lovely PRS. Great jams, and a great 2nd guitarist who shared some leads of his own too. If I recall correctly, was a lawyer type and had a boutique amp, like a Dumble or something new and different. Lawyer's guitar rig sounded sick it was so good and cut through the mix like nothing I ever heard before. but I would prefer GuitarWeasel's rig, myself, he sounded more classic rock. This was also the first time I saw the forever long boom cam arm, that was cool stuff seeing technology and big screen for live closeups on big screen.

I had just recently designed one of my better inventions not long before going to that event. What a fun and sunny day at the park, full of people and a brew or two. But me and my gal at the time, were ganja smokers and had to dive into the porta John's, LOL, to fire up the goods for just a couple hits. hehe

George Thorogood is the only famous rock recording artist/rock star I've ever seen (2 songs), which he started playing after The Boyz were done, so that was a real treat as well. I guess GuitarWeasel has played as a working musician for many many years. And I know Six String goes way back in terms of playing in a band, probably since the late 60's. I was born early 60's, so I'm a bit younger than SixString, but I think he's also from around the general area where I was born and raised in Indiana. Central Michigan presently.

I was 1Way at EverythingSG forum, this was back not long after 7 years of serious bible study 70 hours a week in my poverty. This was when I started getting my first big discoveries, like how to understand the bible correctly. So you could say I am a bible student or theologian, but I have several other passions. These days I've been concentrating on alternative energy, plus housing and transportation inventions. I wish to obsolete the dark side's power base, and empower we the people instead. We deserve so much better than we get.

But unfortunately, since I don't own a machine shop, and no fabrication and testing laboratory, so my ideas remain unbuilt and untested. I have a better propeller that I call the flower of life, as it's an overlay diagram for my machine, and should be able to provide on the order of 3 times more thrust per revolution than a standard airplane propeller.

I have big news about corona, as a natural healer and into alternatives, if your interested in that stuff. At some point you'll probably want to check out the fourth phase of water, as that's a wonderful new scientific discovery that is promising tech. And I know tons about cannabis as medicine too. We are essentially cannabinoid critters, with an "ECS" or Endogenous Cannabinoid System, which is in charge of keeping our body's systems running properly. Lets hope we are not chronically cannabinoid deficient, because that's a medical syndrome, that adding cannabis directly alleviates.

I sure hope the robber Baron's don't win and destroy our economy so after it goes bust and we enter a recession/depression, the central banker's and richest companies could buy up all the best land and property, for pennies on the dollar. The central banker's of the world, functionally rent to the nations their own money supply for perpetual debt enslavement. Fractional reserve lending, is how most money is created, and as such, every dollar created, owes more than it's worth,, which means, the national debt, can never be paid off, and is not real/genuine debt.

We live in an upside down world fellas. It's up to people like us, make it right, and I realize, but that's what we vote politicians to do. Unfortunately we have been loosing at the game of politics for a century, so that's not likely going to be how we win. 1913 Federal Reserve Act, arguably the nation's lowest point as they started renting to us our own national money supply for perpetual debt enslavement. 1937 Marijuana Tax Act, locking us into our petrochemical domination, AKA our fossil fuel economy, our pollution nightmare, and we've been screwed every since.

So as you can see, I stay busy, with causes bigger than any one person. Thanks for the welcome!

Awesome, thanks guys. I see SixString has been gone for a while. Last I heard he had got pretty busy with performing, and he was rocking more too, and larger venues, where as when I saw him, it as nearly an acoustic show. A coffee house, but it was a great time. I helped load up the van afterward and he spent some time chatting with me, about the music scene, and the old days. It was priceless.

Spent some time with me,, deserves elaboration. He bought me a coffee and doughnut, and we sat and talked for an hour or two. Remember, this was AFTER the gig, and like 2 and 3 and 4am. He talked to me like a brother, and shared the ups and the downs of the music industry and such. It was priceless, like once in a lifetime priceless. I loved it. I missed finding out what it's like playing in a band, and I never saw a real rock concert. I should have gone seen the monsters of rock tour, that would have been awesome, but I was poor and times are hard, such is life.

Here's a side project I'm working on. It's a 4x12, that unpacks into 2 - 2x12's, but also you can cause a vertical array, yet all the speakers remain equal distant, in any all configurations. I stay creative, and like to design stuff.
