my "SG" grouping has reached FOOL capacity
scored a slight wonkie (bowed neck and bad "D" tuner) Epi SG 2015 EB-3 a week or so ago---removed strings and let it hang a few days -- adjusted neck back slowly to a slight back bow.....(these LONG slim mahogany necks actually flex a little under tension (my Peavey Dyna Unity is the WORST for that -- took some trial land error years ago to LEARN how to "back bow" it just right so under tension it will be almost flat ....kinda like balancing a trem --) ANYWAY
tuners didnt match up (the screw holes) so a day of matchstick hole filling and trimming flat and touch up painting and then NEW TUNERS added which actually work very nicely -- took about a week .....
the end result with its lifetime set of new fender flats sounds and plays wonderfully and completes the "HORNY" section of the doom room
