It’s been dry and cool (70s) here in New England all week. Humidity will go up, as of course it will rain on the weekend.

We had a stretch here in Northern Illinois (actually much of the upper Midwest) a week or so ago where a combination of the Canadian wild fire smoke and triple digits (F) feel like temperatures, we just stayed inside. Plenty of yard work…. With both being retired it ain’t a sprint anymore but a marathon. Whatever it is…. It’ll wait.

And today my task is clean the smoker after using it yesterday and mow the yard so it looks pretty when family gets here tomorrow. Glad it’s only in the 80s today.

You guys in TX and many of the southern states have been getting nailed with the heat. The blast we got was only a few days with actual temperature “only” in the 90s with feel like in the 100-110 range. But not the weeks like you guys have been dealing with. Stay tuff.
