Finally (only took me almost 4 years----) but when I got the EB-"P" bass it didnt have -- well a neck pickup--- strings--- or a TRUSS ROAD COVER ---
I was become concerned dust and muck might get in there and mess it up-- so-- a whole 2.75 later on ebay ..............

not a lot on this thing is "authentic" so why should the TRC be any different?

its a quintisential FRANKENBASS---
frets ripped out/filled --- headstock broke and repaired--- tuners work backwords not sure WTF the bridge is but a P.O. tightened it down so hard the posts started to split through the BACK of the guitar!!! --
has a Dimarzzio mudbucker a Schaller "P" pup set--- @Drumoid wiring (thanks again "D" man) hacked to crap P.G.-- beat to :poo:e body ------and a BIRD on it!

more of an "EB-OH MY WTF!" than an EB-O

but it truly PLAYS like butta -- and ROARS like THUNDER ------the qunitestial "sleeper" bass......bet if I showed up with it at an audition Id get laughs----
then--- when I play --- ID GET BELLY GUFFAWHS AND AND ROLLING LAUGHTER IN THE AISLES !!!!!!

Ya know...

Kahler made trems for bass in the ‘80s....
