Hey folks! Thought Id introduce myself to the forum. My name is Ryan, im from central Virginia. I have been involved in playing music for a long time. I started when I was 10 years old, ill be 37 years next month. Music is a passion of mine. I play guitar, bass, drums and keys. I love to talk gear. I look forward to getting to know everyone! Are those dampeners/weights(?) on the cymbal stands?

Yes thats a mandolin. I like to toy around with it. I know enough chords to play it but im not extremely versed in it.

Yes those are weights on the cymbal stands. They are acutally ankle weights i got from walmart. They keep the stands planted and prevent wobbling as I play pretty heavy handed on the drums.
