LOL! No...back then, i got an email threatening me with getting banned for "Gibson bashing ," but it wasn't from TTR staff. This post (back then) was a jab in the author's eye so to speak.

I still get a few negative mails (no secret there as I've posted my address) berating me for posting about "your stupid guitars, " and things like "nobody cares about your mom's stupid studio," etc., but everyone has a right to their opinion and I know my personality is somewhat abrasive too.

The worst all came from "thesauceisboss@hushmail.com and the IP is a TOR exit node.

Go figure...

I will tell you that building/contracting/commisioning these Von Herndon prototype's sure generated more negativity than I ever expected. I've heard everything from accusations that I am "infecting" a perfect guitar (Tele) with the Gibson scale, or that everything I'm doing has already been done a thousand times, and perhaps it has, but it's still been a fun project.

I have simply dismissed the author's premise that he is acting on behalf of TTR membership. I figure, if you fellows don't like me, there's an ignore feature... :)
That's some crazy sh!t, Robert. But I'm not surprised that it happened... and unfortunately, it will continue to happen. It's easy for anyone to hide behind their smartphones or computers and spew out hate and not feel embarrassed about it.
