It was 50 years ago today, that Sgt. Pepper was released. what were you doing 50 years ago?
 
So...I guess that means the band learned to play 70 years ago today! I was 7 and had just been given the vinyl copies of "Meet the Beatles" and "Introducing the Beatles" by the time I was 10 I bought my 1st Album with my own money. It was Pendulum by Creedence Clearwater Revival!

It was twenty years ago today
Sgt. Pepper taught the band to play
They've been going in and out of style
But they're guaranteed to raise a smile
So may I introduce to you
The act you've known for all these years

Let's see, June 1 1967.
I can't remember exactly but I can say with a fair amount of certainty that
whatever I was doing was a whole lotta fun and a whole lotta crazy.
"Those were interesting times."
 
I was in the local newspaper for saving a kids life. "9 Year Old Hero Saves Tot From Fall In Deep Pit" on the cover the the Pasadena Star News. Ahh the memories of youth.
