So, Pop (83) has been without electricity in the tractor shop for a couple of weeks, ,but didn't want to ask for help. The outdated 3 conductor wire was buried in the ground without conduit. It's totally rotted out.
We found a cache of used 1-1/4" PVC pipe up in the barn loft, so I started digging out a trench covering the 90 feet between the power pole and the tractor shop with a narrow shovel.
Only 60 feet to go!!!

All 90 feet have been dug before nightfall. Cleaning out the trench on your knees isn't much fun....

It wasn't too bad. Gotta get pop powered back up. But, yes...I'm feeling it tonight...
