Good luck to him; I hope the country moves in a better direction.

I cannot say I am optimistic of the future.
 
This is the first day in a very long time I have been proud to be an American. I had actual tears of joy watching the Man from my little state (who is so much beloved here) take the oath of office. Throughout this extremely difficult year with all the lives lost, I honestly wondered if I was ever going to feel joy again. Alas, I feel it now, and will clutch it to my heart.
