Gots me a new (used of course) amp

That second hole in the rear actually is a reasonable improvement. It's so damn difficult to get your plugs into the back sockets in the BJr since they're buried so deep there. And since you're fumbling in the dark you have to rely on memory of which hole is which. Definitely don't want to plug into the wrong one by accident.

Even here theybare a bit tricky. I do see a Line Out in there. Does the Blues Jr have that?
 
No, there's the speaker output and another jack for a footswitch (on the BJr it's used to switch the "fat" setting, probably switches the boost on the SubZero).
I didn't find a footswitch jack, only the Line out. If it is a line out or in fact a footswitch jack remains to be seen. The spec sheet doesn't mention either line out or foot switch. I'd much rather have the switch.

was looking at one of these a few months ago -- never PULLED the Triger though

There's a 50 watt head for only a $ more.
