I have a Dewalt shop vac, a Eureka stand up and a Hoover hand held.

Probably do a better job on helping the engine run than this crap

You could try a couple of long hoses attached to a Mighty-Vac while you're driving. Then, you could adjust the vacuum from the driver's seat.
