Ive wathced these things for years............never thought they could sounds ANY GOOD in person-- certainly this was all DIRECT to computer -- and sounds good -- but-- no way could it be worth a poo ---
I stumbled upon them again a week or 2 ago when shopping for one of these(which I determined I couldnt afford)
mostly because --- I love my Hartke -- and I have pitted it against several VOX-- ORange-- PEAVEY--Marshall--Kustom-- Ampeg Combo-- ASHDOWN combo -- and Behringer amps ALL fell woefully short in 2 areas
1.cost (all cost more than 60.00 paid for the hartke ---yes 60.00---)
2.tone .........none could bring the low boom doom to the doom room ---- at LIVEABLE volume) the kustom and peavey COULD have leveled the damn trailer -- if I crunked em-- but --
I need LOW -- deep rich tone --- at level that doesnt rattle
off the shelves in the kitchen ----
SO I watched video after video over months and months -- and kept going -- NO WAY -- WASTE OF $
then....................I found one for so stupid cheap--- i couldnt NOT try it--
its been here 2 days now -----
its SO TINY (its on the shelf beside the Lil Sexy) -----so small-- -It needs a guardian WOLF
(lol) that Willow -- her and the other dogs where playing cards this evening ----
this -- is 5 watts....of GREAT SVT Ampeg modeled tone--
at ROOM volumes ---- with an SVT Ampeg (actual amp) playing through the bose system.........and the Thunderbass......running throuygh the Hartke 12" speaker .......damn near (TME) identical tones (I also used a "P" bass as the demonstrator was) at similar volumes
NO it will not cut through (its 5 watts SS BASS ........amp....no --)
NO it will NEVER beat a drummer ---even a limp wristed one
NO it will not play the Alber Hall.....(well perhaps if you line outted it to the HOUSE-- it COULD---???) Can someone BOOK ME in the "F"ing Albert Hall to find out?!??!?!?!
However it can get loud enough to scare a Chihuahua
any way it was 75.00 TO MY DOOR-- with the wall wart (see the BIG BLACK PLUG IN BEHIND THE TINY AMP???) walwarts as big as the damn amp!
has volume 3 band EQ and GAIN
it gets gritty tube break up and lovely cleans...........
and in over 6 years of trying ........................its the FIRST FOOGIN BASS AMP-- that didnt PISS ME OFF-- or DISAPPOINT-- first day out of the box.......
(of all I was most PISSEd at the Ashdown--)

this stupid little clone toy ---- sounds BETTER than a 400.00 ASHDOWN............for my uses.
tones are great and different enough from the Hartke to make it a keeper--even though it cost 15.00 more! (ugh)

YEP-- 220 watts-- vs 60 watts...... Ive put my little 60 watt --60.00 Hartke up against Marshall Peavey Ampeg Acoustic ORANGE and Vintage Kustom and for liveable home use-- the HARTKE has coime out on top every time-- well a NEW contender has emerged----- I scored a 499.00 ASHDOWN rootmaster...
