Gibson SG w mini's into Mesa Triple Recto... (Left side) PV Sheffie 1200/MXL R144 on 45>JoeMeek 6Q & EMI ST MXL DX2 strait across>GAP73
Gibson Firebird 500t into Marshall JCM800(Right side)..same mic's & pre's but Celestion k100's mic's
Fender MIM Jazz Fender 60's custom shop pups strait into GAP73..(maybe just maybe the key to this whole sound..the bass is huge in these songs..like a giant wall of sound lifts those guitar-but they are layered before i will even hit record)
Vox- bark into the MXL DX2 into GAP73.. had to switch to the guitar mic as the yelling went up..lol

Thought more about my signal chain & song ritual... this one started at the grill with the utensil's last night at about 7 pm. Was going to go for nightly Stang ride along the river but this beat & pause kept happening with the spatula while i was grilling burgers, grabbed a fork & came up with main phrase..." Gone"... ate supper then
on way to get the car keys..click..over to the drums & then the trance for 3 hours
new ritual tho, after drums & Left side guitar is in place in Reaper,.pop goes a PBR for the 2nd guitar Right. During this time..words & phrases come from the emotion.. sip a 2nd PBR & write the song..chug 3rd & sing..then immediately Bass & leads if needed. Usually have a lil mellower idea going on but it just gets progressively heavier. I really dont drink much but sure do enjoy this 3 hr escape time in life
