Well, make so much music & its my outlet. Had consultation & presented my music. A classically trained singer/teacher is going to take me on as client.. Presented my music, he was like how many songs do you have , we went on my lap top it's over 300 now lol

What really got me, he was super excited to do this. said mostly kids & choir type clients are the customers.
 
First lesson was excellent !! Teacher really took the time to listen & talk with me. Said he actually listened to more music than i sent him on my soundcloud,

Sat at Piano & he took me from middle C both ways to see my natural range,. The had me hit notes & was seeing how i reacted. Went well. Already learned finally how to hit a note in the context of the scale. Got me pushing my voice from right place & breathing instead of such a forced effort. Was really surprised at how he got me to follow the notes while he played piano. Was closing my eyes & for for time ever trying to let the voice just be guided by the music

Going to meet regularly now, Totally stoked that this is gonna work. Will never be a great singer but sure is going to help improve the originals am addicted to pumping out.

Yea, it's easier when you think in terms of going up and down rather than just trying to "hit" the next note. When you develop the concept of going up and down your notes hit pitch more accordingly.

Teacher was so cool. He said its all kids & choir stuff usually & this is fun to him. But, i chose old hymns as my basis for workouts in our lessons for awhile to develop & then we will head to looney land soon as i can sing better. Its totally inspired me all over again in the originals. Going to enjoy just thrashing the bass in a band & let the lessons help me for a spell then really start to put an effort into some new tunes.
