Thank my friend !! Really finding the happy zone with the V's & Marshall's & 5150. It really has reinvigorated my passion again. Not fond of having to sing but it does open the door to get the songs out musically how i hear them in my head. Most of this is starting on the drums..slowly incorporating them in to the mix..the kick recorded on its own cause i can't quite do the full playing yet, but the kick really sets the tone .. maybe cause of all the years as bass player..its my guide in a way..even on how hard its hit or how light.

Today got the gear thats going for sale. Then 3 songs hit..but 2 are ging to be on Side 2..but thet sorta carry a theme over.

Noticed that i worked from the middle of the story both ways...now need to finish last 2 & first 2 songs..then put the interludes & narrative type stuff between some of the songs. Goal would be to finish the whole first side this month & actually go back and mix & then put it in a master format all ready to go.

Truly was the V's & Marshall's that lit the fire..did a thorough gear analysis & the crossover or non used gear needs to go. Def found out in fender ..it's Super Reverbs that fit..actually favored the haunting..darker clean on the jtm45 & the full with raspy available on picking with the Supers.
 
Love it wish i lived closer id be right over habahaha. Your songs always have a certain grungyness or wrongside of town feel to them. Hard to put into words but almost like alot of NW Grunge influince .Good job.

It actually sounds really close to what the phone is picking up now, might have something to do with the volume and placement of the phone, but it is getting better.

I like that analogy. Am just learning the guitar in a way..all them years on bass & being married to a kick drum basically. The guitar fascinates me..the B & E are slowly creeping in song by song. really trying to learn how to lead. Doing Whole song from drum to the mix is a trip.

didnt know if you had the dual rig set up fired up. Nothing like the full sound swirling around. I call it life therapy...turn it up & forget abut life's problems for a brief period

Yes it was both of my Dsl40c’s, never thought to turn on the mosfet last night, ha ha. But it was sounding really good to me.
