I'm cleaning house boys & girls.
This is your chance to get one of the best sounding solid state metal amps ever made.
The mighty & awesome Ampeg VH140C stereo, chorus combo.

Does it Djent, yes ladies & gents' it Djents with the best of em.

Now the big question, does it work? Yes it works!
Well, sort of. For a while anyway, then the volume kind of fizzles down to next to nothing.
The fix, turn amp off and drop one end from around 4 or so inches.
Speakers will thump, and amp will be restored once again to it's original face melting glory.
The problem??? It's possessed by the same metal demons that it's fierce voice can conjure up.

Original speakers have been pirated, replaced by a pair of not so hot sounding square magnet speakers.
Peavey I think.

Way to big & heavy to ship, please don't even ask.

If any of our local folks want it, come get it.
Drumoid, are you out there??? This is right up your alley of expertise.

If someone wants the original Ampeg branded Celestion speakers, I'll sell the pair for $50.

It'd give the me and the wife a reason to hit the area and maybe stop by the gulf or something.
Probably could during the week possibly, but the wife would be like, um, I want to go to the skyway
Or, the MOTM/lunch works too.

Thanks for tossing in the original speakers and I'll set the pedal off to the side.
Maybe I'll come up with something else to throw in the meantime.

And, to be honest I'll probably just fix it and trade it off or something - I'm not into solid state amps really. As much as I like tube amps I very rarely plug into an amp at the house. Long story short, if between now and the next MOTM you get a chance to pass it on to someone else or what ever, go for it.
