Funny how people will walk far away from ya..not even knowing who you are,, been called a Freak before...just standing there.

Thanks.. just can't figure out when i put the band together what i am going to play. Playing all this & really digging the drums. I go down to bandroom & record the kick..then make wave file & put it in reaper then try the other parts..can't quite do it all right yet

but the main thing..my songs start with a drum beat in my mind,,usually wake up in morning & lay drums down. Then..play to it all day. Next morning.. wont leave the room until its done..well at least in this state we are hearing it here, pretty much pre mix. Then its captured forever with the ability for someone who knows what they are doing to go back & make it right at a future date.

Wife can't sing lately got to get the heavies in..prob we having is ..my contacts & former band members..they are really interested in this, My Wall, project. We could probably do the full story at the recovery based events we specialize in..the story is really about getting clean & dealing with how blanked up life gets. I just didn't get to the good side yet..lol. seem to be recalling all the crazy years lately. Man, do not miss life being so messed up one bit !

I never made it to the needle but ive did everything else. Meth Crack Acid Speed Downers Uppers Pot well you get the picture. And all of it in excess. Been around 30 years since i cleaned up my act. Easier all the time BFT.now to much coffee is my only Vice hhahahaha.im permently goofy anyhow just ask my Girlfriend .

Awesome.. 25 years here also. Part of what we did was a lot of concerts over the years at Recovery based events. There is a passion there to be real & honest & understand people.. In my heart..everybody always has a chance to make a better life & judging & stereotyping ,,or just plain hate shouldn't stand in the way

I think my ultra conservative upbringing..it didn't allow for when there was a problem. To deal with it without just basically ostracizing those that were dif. The addiction can come quick & there is no hope. My case, best friend killed & people stayed away vs coming along side..

see that in my writing..the need for people to help..not make excuses to not help..just help & support..it can mean the dif..

coffee & cross training is the juice now..lol

yup me too, working many years with addiction places .. iind that its not just drugs or booze..its all kinda internal stuff going on. have enjoyed the progress of so many over the years getting their lives back..family's restored..

i go to those places & sometimes just talk to people.. my job takes me to it all. Man, before the accident, had such a network going with quite a few Org's. Maybe the retirement around the corner will open the door back up again. ... my friend has started a clothing drive & it is up to a huge donated space in a warehouse it .that is full of clothes. Each concert we would cook food & each person would get jacket, socks, shoes, pants. many Org's would be there and work on helping out. The times we have had there rival anything .. the shows are so good..

I myself never got the meth thing , have always been a beer, and a little pot, don’t get me wrong I did do a little bit of coke and a few hits of acid, but that was all before I turned 30.
I have seen first hand what the H, and meth can do, (as in the damage it causes)
you have a great cause with what you are doing Den !!
