FOR MY BROTHER JOHNNY GOO

Yeah. When it come to me and pinched harmonics, when it happens it happens by accident and I have no idea how to replicate. I have read. Watched the videos. I know the mechanics. And my fat fingers just can’t do it.

A tip i remember seeing from Zakk Wylde, (who uses pinch harmonics every 4th note lol) is to keep your pick just barely sticking past your thumb and index finger when you go to hit the "squeal" and it does make it a lot easier to hit them. But dabble around the strings between the bridge and neck to find the sweet spot for each string's pinch. After a few minutes, you can hit it without even trying.

I have tried that. Just can’t get consistency. Like mentioned. I’ll do it. Then can’t repeat. Suppose I should practice at it more???

It takes a lil bit of practice to get the pick placement down pat and finding the sweet spots but once you find it, itll stick with you. But i still mess it up from time to time not playing much on them and have to readjust myself when i do
