Went down to my favorite store today to try out some P.A equipment. Started out trying the Exm 70 watt Yorkville powered speaker. We had it hooked up to my Progression Strat and a 58 Shure mic sounds were good, tons of volume clear tones, has reverb and a mix for both channels. Would be good for a large room for sure. If I needed an extra speaker I would take it in a second. if you wanted to run music through it I think it would be a good choice. Now I hook up to the Fishman loud box mini, with same equipment. If you are looking to play small gigs in large rooms , Café settings, If you are playing alone and trying to keep the number of equipment at a minimal to me this is the one. Has a great tones through my Strat, lots of volume for a 6 inch speaker separate controls for guitar and Mic. Its designed more for performing. I was impressed with what this small thing could do it has big sound, for vocals has reverb and delay. Its on my list now for sure. I have to say the Shure 58 and the loud box are a Great combo they compliment one another. If anyone thinks you cant run a Electric guitar through an Acoustic amp they're dead wrong.
