File size limit for linked .gifs?

I had forgotten about a folder I have at Imgur - all .gifs. The larger ones ~8+ MB or so will not load here.

The site software is only set to render images up to a certain size, regardless of whether it's linked up directly uploaded it seems. Probably a configuration parameter.

I did reduce the size of that and two others I recently posted - the resize worked. Easy enough to do so.
