mines a beast....60's Custom Shop fender pups, it's getting at my P bass...it's a war every week for the spot on recording

BFT, There are my 3 basses. MY BEAST is that BlueGlitter Steve Harris P Bass. Just holding it, you know why Steve plays his all these years.

HAHA, as I was searching youtube for some cool demos of my bass, I ran across this guy. Not that I would ever try to get super funky licks like him, Man he gets some cool sounds out of this bass and the Sunburst Fretless he is playing.

it doesnt do any 1 THING exceptionally----- but it does EVERYTHING functionally

and you can beat a mugger to death with it and not lose tune

So true. I still regret getting rid of both of mine.

Fretless, if I had just a little more income than at any given moment in time over my 5 decades spinning this rock, I might not have to join the same club in the nice gear I have parted with. My very first guitar, 1970's Les Paul Standard. Schecter Robert DeLeo Model T bass, 2 high end PRS Santana guitars, a Santana 2 and Santana 3, about 40-50 drums. a 1972 Datsun 510. Or worse yet, from before I could drive and because I was only 15 and lived in a darn apartment with no garage or tools of course, the 1967 Firebird I could have bought for $500 off a little old neighbor lady. Damn I loved 67-69 Firebirds and Camaros.
