Fender 59 Bassman Burnt Resistors...Can Anyone Help with Issue?

You are a brave soul.... I just won't buy used gear. Too many problems with it in the past to be able to earn money with it, but I am interested to see how this job pans out...

I love used gear and rarely have an issue I can't fix. What I hate is buying new and having issues from a full (high) priced guitar!

This amp is going to be fantastic when I'm done even if I have to replace that entire circuit card with a turret board...

This is a great project and almost wish it was mine. Take your time, get real anal about the tone, and enjoy this adventure...

Agreed. The guitar thing can be frustrating.

I'm not skilled in amp repair, and even if I was, I wouldn't invest the time to do it because the downtime would cost me money....

and all that SOLDERING ----UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! shoot me------

I'm pretty good with soldering, but I dont understand how the circuits work. I mean, I could probably solder in new parts but troubleshooting or modifying???

Land Of The Lost, Man...
