Well since I am now officially in the club....
The output jack on the Gibbys is on the lower horn. How do you get the cord in behind the strap neatly? Leave it dangle straight and that's a recipe for stepping on it and pulling it out or breaking cord or jack. But to pull it up to strap lock like a clothesline and that gets in the way big time.
Part of the fun of a V is being able to cradle it over your thigh ala Schenker. You can't gaffer tape it to back of guitar. Mine is nicely placed up by the strap lock itself.
So how do you deal with this?
My hand would get hooked in cord flailing....

But cord dangles in the space between the horns? Seems like it would get in the way.
I wasn’t a runner, or an acrobat…I just let a 90° cable end dangle if I was singing all night. If I was not singing most of the stuff, I’d run the cable through the strap hitching zone.

I was singing most of that show, plus the stage wasn’t huge.

Yeah for me that's a disaster in waiting. Stepped on too many a cord plus I use wirless pack. This is all theoretical as I do not own a Gibby V!
Yet....

That sorta works till one has to plant guitar around thigh to play per Schenker. Would need a reasonable amount of slack. That's half the fun of V!. Just that it pulls on cord. I still think they need to put the output jack up on top horn. Seems like oversight to me.
