Yeah….so….like….Douglas Adams….he seems a pretty cool Freud….
Ok, I give, who is Douglas Adams? I suspect this is a joke that went ...whoosh... right over my head. :rolf:

Edit: I looked him up, I still don't get it. If it's a reference to "hitchhikers" I never got into that. :hmmm:

Where to start…wrote some really funny/cool/thought provoking stuff about towels…or salmon…or gin and tonics…or something.

Look him up….I highly recommend it.

I guess I edited my post above while you were typing. I looked him up. I saw a bunch of stuff about Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy, which I never got into. It's just that you quoted my post so I'm feeling like I should know what you meant, but I just don't know him so I didn't get it, sorry.

Bootsy Collins. I met him in the hotel lobby in Nashville at summer NAMM, with George Clinton, both in full Mothership regalia at 10 AM, on their way to the show. I walked up and said, “Holy cow! Bootsy! You are da man!” And he winked and said, “Wellllll, I sho nuff do be workin’ on it!” A living avatar of cool.

I was thinking the same thing. Would it be inappropriate to create a "Famous People You Don't Like" thread?
A lot of people’s on the web ruin any image of famous people because of the web, they know the entire life history of said performer.
It is now not fashionable to like people.
Just sayin.

That's ok, I've never heard of him eithier, so that makes two of us.:io:

Whereas I have had opportunity to meet famous or well-known people here or there, I never really conversed or spent time with them enough to know whether or not I like them.

Is the question asking if I like what the individual has produced in his or her professional output?
