F That !!

That’s one of my bad habits from forever, power chords were never fingers properly, I would always smash both strings down with only my ring finger,
one of these days I will get better with it!
Cheers Mitch
its take me so much discipline to get the 2 fingers on a power cord vs baring it with middle..but ..it opens up to pull other stuff from there..like use ring finger to make it major

for us not so good at ers,,i managed ..lol..my hand is still sore...F to a C is insane with the A major in between..never again..i say !!.hats off to those that play acoustic & do it effortlessly..
I don't know anybody that plays acoustic effortlessly. It may look like it but I guarantee that it only looks that way. Playing acoustic is always a struggle no matter how good you are.

Don't leave yourself flat over it.

there was an informal show few years ago..a guy with a Martin backed up for 3 hours, everybody. His fingers had worn down & basically bleeding. I shook his hand after show & he could hardly move his hand..he didn't miss 1 note..i was blown away. He could play the chords & changes effortlessly...sat back & watched..he was relaxed, his technique was so controlled even the hard changes..i seem to get so tense... can speed run but that full chord stuff kills me. Have been putting the time in lately learning & full chords behind the main part of song construction really seems to open the song up...def for the singer.. the platform of that rhythm guitar & bass together..makes the rest so much easier..
