Thanks, Goo. Mom wanted it to "sound country" and back then, I was listening to a lot of Merle Haggard stuff, so i knew how to get a country vibe...but in my soul, i wanted to be a rocker...Leslie West was my guitar hero at this time, so I "rocked it" up as much as Mom would allow...
 
Trivia - the lead guitar parts were laid down on a hideous silver sparkle Fender Telecaster, randomly pulled from the studio rack...
 
Now, keep in mind that the Chester Avenue Studio was literally full of guitars, so I couldn't tell you if this guitar has any historical significance, but it looked a bit like the one Buck is holding here under his right arm...
