Drug Free Musicians

I can't comment on the other bands, but the KISS entry is not quite correct. It is true that Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley eschewed drugs, but the same can't be said for Ace Frehley or Peter Criss.

Both Ace and Peter have been very upfront about their former drug use and/or alcoholism and their journeys out of it. Thank God they found their way out and were able to get clean. Others have not done so and have died prematurely because of it.

Yup totally.
I don't know most of those other people. Frank and Ted, big time.
I know Rik Emmett from Triumph is not a dope head either. One does not have to be, in fact, it must be easier to deal with the rigors of the road drug free.
Sadly so many get stuck in the lifestyle and pay for it years later.

Yep, unfortunately fun partying devolves into addiction for many.
But, I really dig this song.
