Had to share two of my favorites with some of the newer members...Home studio productions. I am playing all instruments, except drums.

Trivia: The "keyboard" passages in "Perfect Strangers" were done entirely on guitar by layering the on-board effects in Audacity.

What I liked about Perfect Strangers was you did it your way. Wasn’t a Deep Purple clone. Was really getting into some of the “Robert” nuances you injected.

Smoke..... Every kids dream that ever picked up an electric. Heck. Even I can do the opening riff and sound good. We all can..... but then it comes apart at the seams and I start strumming a Cat Stevens tune. Great job on that one as well.

Thank you for looking deeply enough into that work. I appreciate the fact you picked up on that. I am currently re-working the drums in my version of "Watchtower," because I feel like our "vintage" drum vibe is wrong for my more modern version.

Some good stuff on that record. I saw the Fireball tour. Great show.
Silverhead opened for them.
It was my first real rock concert, an unforgettable experience.

Thats true! Everyone on planet Earth has heard Smoke on The Water and lots know Highway Star, Hush or Woman From Tokyo but there were so many more. Knocking At Your Backdoor, Burn, Stormbringer ( stole that name for my first band lol), Speed King, Child In Time and on and on
