I played a 19,000 seat arena with a Peavey
Classic 30 with a Jensen P12Q upgrade in it
(Of course it was mic'd up. DUH!)
Nobody complained and the engineers loved it.

I always thought it odd yet impressive he plays a full hollow body for aggressive heavy (for the time period) rock, and encouraged but managed the feedback.

I never heard he was a prick on a personal level.
